We came to the aid of the laws of physics - namely, the thermal expansion properties of metals. Simple heating followed by knockout was not enough, so the challenge was set: to heat and cool the bipod finger. Option with simultaneous heating of the bipod, and by applying dry ice is not available (too quickly evaporates), with a simple ice too (drains to fry, too quickly melts and cools effectively), so it was decided to put the tip completely in a container of water, while leaving fry over surface.
